Cannot focus. • Focusing may be difficult in the following situations: - It is dark and the subject is distant. - The contrast between the subject and the background is poor. - The subject is seen through glass. - The subject is moving quickly. - The subject reflects light such as mirror, or has shiny surfaces. - The subject is flashing. - The subject is backlit. Menu Index Shooting still images using touch operation (Touch Shutter function) (NEX-5R only) The camera adjusts the focus and releases the shutter automatically when you simply touch the subject that you want to focus on the screen. You can use the Touch Shutter function when [Touch Shutter] is set to [On] in the MENU. 1 Touch (Touch Shutter OFF) on the screen. • The icon changes to (Touch Shutter ON) and the touch shutter shooting becomes available. 2 Point the camera to the subject, then touch the subject that you want to focus on the screen. • The Auto Focus area is displayed on the screen where you touched it.
