31 Playing Music Table of Contents Menu Notes  While the animation that appears when the player is selecting a release year is displayed, the controls of the player cannot be operated.  Songs with no release year data are not selected in "Time Machine Shuffle" play and are not played.  A shuffle play of all songs begins if none of the songs on the player have a release year assigned to them.  If all the songs on the player that have a release year assigned have the same release year, or some of songs have the same release year and the rest of them have no release year assigned, the animation that appears while release year is being selected is not displayed and playback starts. Notes
