Controlling Live TV Part of the fun of watching live TV with TiVo is using its pause, instant replay, and slow motion features. You can also use these features during recorded programs. You can also quickly set up recordings, give any program Thumbs Ratings, and customize the channels and types of programs shown in the guide. The TiVo Live Guide Customizing the TiVo Live Guide The TiVo Live Guide has options that let you quickly change what programs and channels the guide shows. Chapter 5 Messages and Setup TiVo Messages Select TiVo messages to read any messages from the TiVo service or internal alerts from your recorder. When you receive a new message, TiVo Central will show the option, "NEW TiVo Messages & Setup." To read the messages: 1.
