Help Guide Sony | Headphones Connect Setting DSEE HX (High range compensation) DSEE HX complements the high frequency range of compressed sound sources such as CD music source (44.1 kHz/16 bit) or MP3, and converts to high quality sound (maximum 96 kHz/24 bit) equivalent to high-resolution by raising the sampling frequency and the bit rate higher than the original value. It enables you to enjoy the clear and lively sound equivalent to high- resolution with smartphones and audio players that are not compatible with high-resolution.
