MANUAL CLOCK SETTING Make sure ... • Use the remote control for this procedure. • TV/VCR power must be turned on. In the example below, the clock is to be set to: DATE March 1st, 1999 SETTING TIME 5:40PM 1 Select "SETTING CLOCK" Press the MENU button. Press the PLAY/A or STOP/V button to point to "SETTING CLOCK". (OFF} 3 Select the month Press the PLAY/A or STOP/V button until your desired month appears. (Example: March --> 03) Then, press the F.FWD/P0- button. - MANUAL CLOCK SET - ,O7, DAY YEAR "Vi 4"' ITOUR MINUTE 4 Select the day Press the PLAY/A or STOP/V button until your desired day appears. (Example: 1st ---> 01) Then, press the F.FVVD/110- button. - MANUAL CLOCK SET - MONTH EC, 03 W.01 YEAR -- - HOUR - - MINUTE - - -- 5 Select the year Press the PLAY/A or STOP/V button until your desired year appears. (Example: 1999) Then, press the F.FWDI button - MANUAL CLOP( SET - MONTH DAY # 03 / 01 MOO.' 999 m HOUR AtiMYTE 6 Select the hour Press the PLAY/A or STOP/V button until your desired hour appears. HOUR 05 .1,104,IIM 8 Start the clock Press the MENU button. 5,40PM Although seconds are not displayed, they begin counting from 00 when you press the MENU button. Use this feature to synchronize the clock with the correct time. NOTE: When unplugging the AC cord or if there is a power failure for more than 30 seconds, you may have to reset the clock. TO CHANGE CLOCK SETTING If you want to change the clock, 1) Follow steps [1] and [2]. 2) Select where you want to change using the F.FWD/110. or REW/-4 button. 3) Enter correct numbers using the PLAY/A or STOP/V button. 4) Press the MENU button to start the clock. PLEASE NOTE: If there is no local PBS station in your area or on your cable system, select "AUTO CLOCK" and press the F.FWD/10- or REW/l button to turn [OFF] this function.
