Changing Display Settings You can choose the type of information displayed in the second line of the display while listening to a DAB channel. Channel and frequency This displays the channel and frequency of the current playing broadcast. B B C R a d i o 5 L i ve 11C 220.35MHz Bitrate mode This displays the bitrate of the current playing broadcast. Each time the INFO/RDS button is pressed, the information is displayed as follows. B B C R a d i o 5 L i ve 192Kbps STEREO DLS Programme type Time & Date This displays the current time and date, which is supplied by the radio station and should always be accurate. Ensemble name Channel and frequency B B C R a d i o 5 L i ve 10:03 19-04-2009 Bitrate mode Time & Date Signal strength This displays the signal strength of current ensemble. Signal strength B B C R a d i o 5 L i ve DLS The Dynamic Label Segment (DLS) is the scrolling text label supplied by the radio station. It may be information on music titles or details regarding the programme or station. B B C R a d i o 5 L i ve WEEKDAY NEWS & D Programme type This is a description of the type of broadcast supplied by the radio station such as Pop, Rock or Classical music.
