Settings (continued) PS-MODE (power saving mode) This sets the power saving mode used when in standby. PS1 This mode turns the power amp inside the unit off, reducing power consumption during standby. The unit will turn on when playback starts from a smartphone or tablet or audio is input through the DIGITAL IN or LINE IN connectors. PS2 This mode turns most of the modules inside the unit off, reducing power consumption during standby even more than PS1. The unit will turn on when playback starts from a smartphone or tablet. The unit will not turn on when audio is input through the DIGITAL IN or LINE IN connectors. BASS EQ (bass equalizer) Use to adjust the volume of low frequencies. FLAT Low frequencies are not enhanced. ENHANCED Low frequencies are enhanced. Use this setting when the volume is low and at other times that low frequencies sound weak. Wi-Fi CONF (Wi-Fi setting) This sets the connection of this unit with a Wi-Fi router or other access point. iOS (WAC) Use this when using Mac, iPhone or other iOS device functions and connecting the unit to a Wi-Fi access point. See "A) Use "SET UP NEW AIRPLAY SPEAKER" for an iPhone or other iOS device" on page 19 for detailed operation procedures. PAIRING Use to set the connection of this unit with a Bluetooth device. See "Pairing (initial setup)" on page 16 for information about pairing operations. 25
