TL-SG3109/TL-SL3428/TL-SL3452 Gigabit Managed Switch Family CLI Reference Guide rmon alarm The rmon alarm Global Configuration mode command configures alarm conditions. To remove an alarm, use the no form of this command. Syntax rmon alarm index variable interval rthreshold fthreshold revent fevent [type type] [startup direction] [owner name] no rmon alarm index Parameters • index - Specifies the alarm index. (Range: 1-65535) • variable - Specifies the object identifier of the variable to be sampled. • interval - Specifies the interval in seconds during which the data is sampled and compared with rising and falling thresholds. (Range: 1-4294967295) • rthreshold - Specifies the rising threshold. (Range: 0-4294967295) • fthreshold - Specifies the falling threshold. (Range: 0-4294967295) • revent - Specifies the event index used when a rising threshold is crossed. (Range: 1-65535) • fevent - Specifies the event index used when a falling threshold is crossed. (Range: 1-65535) • type - Specifies the method used for sampling the selected variable and calculating the value to be com- pared against the thresholds. Possible values are absolute and delta. If the method is absolute, the value of the selected variable is compared directly with the thresholds at the end of the sampling interval. If the method is delta, the selected variable value of the last sample is subtracted from the current value, and the difference is compared with the thresholds. • direction - Specifies the alarm that may be sent when this entry is first set to valid. Possible values are rising, rising-falling and falling. If the first sample (after this entry becomes valid) is greater than or equal to rthreshold and direction is equal to rising or rising-falling, a single rising alarm is generated. If the first sample (after this entry becomes valid) is less than or equal to fthreshold and direction is equal to falling or rising-falling, a single falling alarm is generated. • name - Specifies the name of the person who configured this alarm. If unspecified, the name is an empty string. Default Configuration The type is absolute. The startup direction is rising-falling.
