INSTALLATION This chapter describes how to install your Fax/Modem PC Card and quick start in Windows 98, Windows 95, Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups and DOS environment. You can jump to the right section that your computer is running. Working with Windows 98 1. Turn on your computer. 2. Insert the Fax/Modem PC Card into the free PCMCIA slot, and make sure it is firmly seated. 3. Windows 98 will prompt New Hardware Found then Add New Hardware Wizard dialog box. Click Next. 4. Select "Search for the best driver for your device (Recommended)", and click Next. 5. Insert Fax/Modem PC Card driver disk, select "Floppy disk drives", and click Next. 1-3

Working with Windows 98
1. Turn on your computer.
2. Insert the Fax/Modem PC Card into the free PCMCIA slot, and
make sure it is firmly seated.
3. Windows 98 will prompt
New Hardware Found
then
Add

Hardware Wizard
dialog box.
Click
Next

4. Select “
Search for the best driver for your device
