Manage POIs This button is only available if all menu options are shown. To show all menu options, tap Show ALL menu options. Tap this button to do the following: • Set alerts for when you are near POIs. Manage POIs For example, your GO can tell you when there is a gas station nearby, or warn you that there is a radar camera coming up. To find out about POIs and about setting warnings for POIs, see Points of Interest on page 33. • Create your own POI categories and add POIs to them. For example, you could create a category of POIs called "Friends", and add all your friend's addresses as POIs in the category. You can even add your friend's phone numbers with their address so you can call them from your GO. For more information about POIs, see Points of Interest on page 33. Hide tips / Show tips Hide tips This button is only available if all menu options are shown. To show all menu options, tap Show ALL menu options. Tap this button to stop your GO from giving you tips from time to time. After you hide the tips, the button changes to Show tips. Tap this button to turn tips on again. Speaker preferences Speaker preferences This button is only available if all menu options are shown. To show all menu options, tap Show ALL menu options. Tap this button to set whether music and spoken instructions should be played using the speaker in your GO or using an external speaker. There are two options for these preferences: • Play music over external speaker • Play spoken instructions over external speaker If you select either option, you must select which external speaker will be used. You can use the speakers on your car stereo or Bluetooth Hi-Fi speakers. For more information, see Sound on page 39. • • 56
