Chapter 9: Troubleshooting LED indications The green and yellow LED lights on the TV front indicate the TV's status, as described below. Note: If the TV loses A/C power (e.g., a power outage occurs or the power cord is unplugged), when power is restored, the yellow LED will blink while the TV is booting until the remote control is usable. This is normal and is not a sign of malfunction. TV front POWER Yellow LED Green LED LED Indication 1) Green is ON (solid). 2) Yellow is ON (solid). Condition The TV is operating properly. Standby with Power-On Mode set to Fast. 3) Yellow blinks. 4) Green blinks slowly. 5) Green blinks quickly. 6) Yellow blinks three times. 7) Green blinks slowly. Yellow blinks slowly. Fan stopped (57LX177 only). Abnormal operation of BUS line. Power protect detection. TV is powering up. Charis calibration error Solution - See "Selecting the Power-On Mode" (- page 50). Turn OFF the TV and unplug the power cord. Plug the power cord in again and turn ON the TV. Wait several seconds until the yellow LED stops blinking. Turn OFF the TV and unplug the power cord. Plug the power cord in again and turn ON the TV. If, after trying the solutions, the problem still exists: • In the U.S., call TACP Consumer Solutions at 1-800-575-5469. • In Canada, locate the nearest Toshiba authorized service depot by directing your web browser to www.toshiba.ca; click "Home Entertainment," and then click "Support." 108

LED indications
The green and yellow LED lights on the TV front indicate the TV’s status, as described below.
Note:
If the TV loses A/C power (e.g., a power outage occurs or the power cord is unplugged), when power is restored, the yellow
LED will blink while the TV is booting until the remote control is usable. This is normal and is not a sign of malfunction.
If, after trying the solutions, the problem still exists:
