Camcorder Settings 47 Settings Menu Format The options in the format menu are: Yes: Format the built-in memory (When there is no SD™ Card in the camcorder), or SD™ Card (When there is an SD™ Card in the camcorder). No: Do not format the built-in memory (When there is no SD™ Card in the camcorder), or SD™ Card (When there is an SD™ card inserted into the camcorder). Operation Screen 1 In the Setting submenu, touch Format on the screen to go to the format confirmation screen. 2 Touch Yes to perform the operation and No to cancel the operation. All data will be erased if the SD™ card is formatted. Make sure all data is copied to your computer or other media before formatting the SD™ Card.
