Getting Ready DISP Button and LCD Monitor Display (In Photography Mode) This item switches the display on the LCD monitor when taking photographs. Set the mode dial to [ ], [ ] or [ ]. Press the DISP button. Each press of the DISP button switches the display format as follows: OSD full display OSD display off LCD monitor off Back Images Photographs Taking Playing Erasing Images Handy Functions Information Applications Other Additional ¥When any button is pressed while OSD display is off, the monitor displays the alteration on the screen for two seconds. ¥When the LCD monitor is off, the digital zoom function is forcibly canceled. ¥In the movie mode or macro photography mode, the LCD monitor can not be turned off. ¥When the LCD monitor is off, any setting for manual, exposure compensation, aperture value, shutter speed value or focus is not possible. - 118
