58 Getting Started Adding memory (optional) ❖ Is unlit when the battery has discharged, the battery is not charging, or the AC adapter is not plugged into the computer or AC outlet The hard disk drive light flashes to indicate that the hard disk drive is in use. Never turn off the computer while any of the drives are in use. Adding memory (optional) HINT: To purchase additional memory modules, see the accessories information packaged with your system or visit accessories.toshiba.com. Your computer comes with enough memory to run most of today's popular applications. You may want to increase the computer's memory if you use complex software or process large amounts of data. For more information on memory options, check the accessories information that came with your computer, or visit accessories.toshiba.com. NOTE Before adding external devices or memory, Toshiba recommends setting up your software. See "Setting up your software" on page 48.
