INTRODUCTION Front Panel and Display Window ON/STANDBY Switches the player ON and OFF. ON/STANDBY indicator Lights red when the player is in Standby mode (off). 1 2 3 4 (left/right/up/down) Selects an item in the menu. ENTER Confirms menu selection. Disc Tray Insert a disc here. N PLAY ( ) Z Starts playback. OPEN/CLOSE ( ) x Opens or closes the disc tray. STOP ( ) XStops playback. PAUSE ( ) Pauses playback temporarily / press repeatedly for frame-byframe playback. Display window Shows the current status of the player. Remote Sensor Point the DVD Player remote control here. MENU Accesses menu on a DVD disc. RANDOM Plays tracks in random order. . Reverse Skip ( ) Returns to beginning of current chapter/track or to PREVIOUS chapter/track. Press and hold for two seconds for fast reverse search. DISC CHANGE Changes a disc (other than the one playing) during playback DISC SKIP Moves to the next available disc tray. > Forward Skip ( ) Advances to NEXT chapter/track. Press and hold for two seconds for fast forward search. ANGLE Lights when multi angles are present. A light will appear if a disc is in the disc tray. The current disc tray flashes. DVD DVD inserted CD Audio CD inserted VCD Video CD inserted MP3 MP3 disc inserted Indicates current player function: Playback, Pause, etc. MP3 VCD CD DVD 12345 TITLE Indicates current title number CHP/TRK Indicates current chapter or track number Indicates total playing time/elapsed time PROG. Programmed playback active RANDOM RANDOM playback active Indicates repeat mode TITLE CHP/TRK PROG. RANDOM ALL A B 1-9
