6 When disconnecting the DVD player, first turn off the DVD player, then remove the adapter pin plug from the DVD player and then the power plug from the cigarette lighter socket or power port. 7 Before turning off the vehicle engine or leaving the vehicle, be sure to turn off the player then remove the adapter pin plug from the DVD player. WARNING Do not charge the battery by this adapter. Charging will start when powered off. ALWAYS disconnect this adapter from the player after powering off. Neglecting this may cause malfunction of the DVD player. • If the cigarette lighter socket or power port is dirty, be sure to clean it before connecting the power plug of the adapter. Dusts or stains of the cigarette lighter socket or power port may heat the connected plug while operating, and may damage the adapter. • Do not leave the adapter in an unoccupied vehicle to avoid exposing it to unusually high ambient temperatures. • Before turning off the vehicle engine, first turn off the DVD player then remove the plug of the adapter from the cigarette lighter socket or power port. Turning off the vehicle engine while the DVD player is powered via the adapter may cause damage to the DVD player. • When the DVD player is not in use be sure to remove the adapter power plug from the cigarette lighter socket or power port and the pin plug from the DVD player. • Do not force the adapter into an incompatible lighter socket or power port. • Avoid dropping the adapter or placing heavy objects on it. Never use the damaged adapter. • Do not pull the adapter power cord when removing it from a socket or power port. Always grasp and pull the body. When disconnecting the DVD player, first turn off
the DVD player, then remove the adapter pin plug
from the DVD player and then the power plug
from the cigarette lighter socket or power port.
