Quick control Selecting the Playback Function - QUICK - Pressing one button can display a list of playback functions which are relevant to your current playback mode. You can check and modify them from the list. 2 2 QUICK DVD-V VCD DVD-A CD Selecting the playback function 1 During playback, press QUICK. V-REMOTE The following on-screen display QUICK appears. (The actual display will vary depending on the playback status.) e.g. DVD-V Quick Memory Repeat A-B (Set A) Random Bit Rate Text Exit 2 Press / to select the item, then press ENTER. e.g. The mode menu appears. ENTER Chapter Repeat Title Repeat All Repeat Repeat Off ENTER Quick menu Memory : To combine titles, groups, chapters or tracks, and play them in the desired order. Up to 30 programs can be set. Repeat : 44 To play titles, groups, chapters or tracks A-B (Set A): repeatedly. 45 To define a segment to play repeatedly. 46 . Random : Bit Rate : To play titles, groups, chapters or tracks in random order. 46 To activate the bitrate display. (Bit rate: data transfer rate (Mbit/s) Amount of picture, sound and subtitle data in the DVD video disc transferred per second. The larger the value, the more data processed, but this does not necessarily insure better picture quality.) Text : To activate the Text display. Text display: Displays DVD-Text data if included on the disc. When playing a DVD audio disc, displays Album Text data if included on the disc. However, Track Text data is not displayed. (Some content on the disc may not be displayed properly depending on the Exit : disc.) To quit the on-screen display. Note Pressing the QUICK button again also exits the on-screen display. 43
