The car battery may be too exhausted to turn the engine on. • Depending on the vehicle model or the location of the cigarette lighter socket, this adapter may not be applied. • In some vehicles the cigarette lighter socket is powered even when the vehicle's engine is not running. Using the cigarette lighter socket for power when the engine is not running will drain the car's battery. • Never add any devices to the cigarette lighter socket or power port to apply the adapter.
