TECRA A3/S2 Features Slots (depending on configuration) PC Card Accommodate one type II device or two type II devices/one type III device. Multiple Digital Media Card (SD/MMC/SM/ MS/MS Pro/xD) This slot lets you easily transfer data from devices, such as digital cameras and Personal Digital Assistants, that use flash-memory. You can use memory module in this slot. Ports (depending on configuration) Docking Special port for connecting an optional Port Replicator. External monitor 15-pin analog VGA port supports VESA DDC2B compatible functions. Parallel This port is used to connect a parallel printer or other parallel device. Universal Serial Bus The computer provides Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports that comply with the USB 2.0 standard, which enables data transfer speeds more than 40 times faster than USB 1.1 (which this computer also supports.) The USB drives may be used to transfer data at Low, Full, and High speeds. Serial This port lets you connect the computer to a serial port devices. i.LINK (IEEE1394) TV Out This port enables high-speed data transfer directly from external devices, such as digital video cameras. The 4-pin S-Video port is compatible with PAL or NTSC TV standard, supporting Macrovision copy protection.
