Important Information Solving Problems If you have any trouble with your phone, check this section first. If you need help, call our Customer Care Line listed on the front cover. General problems Possible solutions No station can make or receive calls. xxCheck the telephone cord connection. xxDisconnect the base AC adapter for a few minutes; then reconnect it. A handset can't make or receive calls. xxMove the handset closer to the base. The corded handset can make calls but the cordless handset(s) cannot. xxCheck the power connection to the base. If the base is unplugged or the power goes out, only the corded handset can make and receive calls. A station can make calls, but it xxMake sure the ringer is turned on. won't ring. xxMake sure Silent Mode is turned off (see p. 15).
