Symptom The handset doesn't ring or receive a page. The handset doesn't communicate with other handsets (Multi-handset packs only). An extra handset can't join the conversation (Multi-handset packs only). Suggestion • Make sure that you are not too far from the base. • Make sure that your handset is registered to the main base unit. • Charge the battery in the handset for 15 to 20 hours by placing the handset on the base or charging cradle. • Change the Digital Security Code (see Changing the Digital Security Code on page 41). • Change the Digital Security Code (see Changing the Digital Security Code on page 41). • Make sure there are not two handsets already using the conference feature. • Make sure that another handset is not in privacy mode. 44
