REMOVABLE ELECTRONIC MODULE The electronic module is removable so the fabric portion of the VTech® Lil' Critters Huggable Hippo Teether™ and teethers can be washed by hand. REMOVE the electronic module before washing the teethers. To remove the electronic module, remove the battery cover and gently separate the front and back pieces of the electronic module. 3. TEETHERS Before using the teethers for the first time and after each use, wash with warm soapy water, then rinse. DO NOT use boiling water, steam, a microwave or dishwasher to clean the teethers. 4. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF To preserve battery life, the VTech® Lil' Critters Huggable Hippo Teether™ will automatically power-down after approximately 8 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing the light-up heart button. Note: If the unit powers down quickly during play, we suggest changing the batteries. ACTIVITIES 1. Slide the on/off switch to turn the unit on. You will hear a playful song, a phrase and a fun sound. The light will flash with the sound. 6
