Program/Cycle Guide WARNING WARNING Fire Hazard No washer can completely remove oil. Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on it (including cooking oils). Do not dry items containing foam, rubber, or plastic in this dryer. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or fire. Explosion Hazard Keep flammable materials and vapors, such as gasoline, away from dryer. Do not dry anything that has ever had anything flammable on it (even after washing). Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, explosion, or fire. Automatic Cycles Settings and options shown in bold are the default settings for that cycle. If settings are changed, the new settings will be remembered. If there is a power failure, settings will return to the default. Not all settings and options are available on each cycle. Load Size Recommendations For best results, follow the wet load size recommendations noted for each cycle. Small load: Fill the dryer drum with 3-4 items, not more than 1/4 full. Large load: Fill the dryer drum up to about 3/4 full. Do not pack tightly. Items need to tumble freely. Medium load: Fill the dryer drum up to about 1/2 full. Use Automatic Cycles for better fabric care and energy savings The dryer senses moisture in the load or air temperature and shuts off when the load reaches the selected dryness level. Use the NORMAL dryness level to provide optimal energy savings. Cycle uses medium heat with no drum reversing to properly dry whites items. Uses extra low heat to gently dry delicate items. Uses lower heat the whites to gently dry colored clothes. Uses low heat to gently dry delicate items. Drum reverses intermittently to redistribute load for thorough drying. 1
