CYCLE GUIDE - SPECIAL-PURPOSE CYCLES For additional cycle details and options, refer to the LCD display. Settings and options shown in bold are default settings for that cycle. Not all features and cycles are available on all models. For best performance, not all settings are available with each cycle, and some options cannot be used together. This cycle adds water, then uses high-speed tumbling and an extra-high-speed spin. For some fabrics, you may wish to set the spin speed to a lower setting. Wet load of clothes Rinse/Drain N/A Extra High N/A FanFresh® & Spin High Medium Low Extra Low No Spin Select "None" for rinses. Use this cycle to spin excess water out of a load. This cycle drains the water and spins at an extra-high speed. Spin speed can be set to a lower setting. Custom My Cycle Custom Save your favorite cycle/setting combinations. See the My Cycle and Specialty Cycle section of this guide. No clothes in washer Clean Washer N/A N/A N/A N/A Use this cycle every 30 washes to with affresh® keep the inside of your washer fresh and clean. This cycle uses a higher water level. Use with affresh® Washer Cleaner tablet or liquid chlorine bleach to thoroughly clean the inside of your washer. This cycle should not be interrupted. See "Washer Care." IMPORTANT: Do not place garments or other items in the washer during the Clean Washer with affresh® cycle. Use this cycle with an empty wash tub. Lightly soiled cotton Quick Wash Hot Extra High Heavy Extra Rinse or synthetic garments Warm High Normal FanFresh® Cool Medium Light Delay Start Cold Low Extra Low For small loads (3-4 items) needed quickly. This cycle combines high-speed tumbling, a shortened wash time, and an extra-high-speed spin for reduced drying times. Jeans and denims Jeans Warm Cool Cold Medium Heavy Low Normal Extra Low Light No Spin Extra Rinse Prewash Presoak FanFresh® Cycle combines low-speed tumbling and medium-speed spins to provide gentle care for jeans and denims. Sheets/Linens Wool Sweaters Kidswear Sportswear Intimates Business Wear Specialty Cycles provide custom cycles for tackling common household cleaning tasks. Load Size Recommendations For best results, follow the load size recommendations noted for each cycle. For cycles without a load size recommendation, follow on-screen instructions or see the Cycle Details. Small load: Fill the washer drum with 3-4 items, not more than 1/4 full. Medium load: Fill the washer drum up to about 1/2 full. Large load: Fill the washer drum up to about 3/4 full. Extra-large load: Fill the washer drum, but make sure clothes can tumble freely.
