Connecting a Separate TV Monitor Connect the instrument to an external TV monitor, and you can have the current display contents, lyrics (for group sing-alongs and the like, or text files) displayed on the TV. CAUTION Avoid looking at the television or video monitor for prolonged periods of time since doing so could damage your eyesight. Take frequent breaks and focus your eyes on distant objects to avoid eyestrain. VIDEO OUT RCA pin plug VIDEO IN Screen Out Settings 1 Call up the operation display. [FUNCTION] → [J] UTILITY → TAB [E][F] SCREEN OUT 2 Set the monitor type and screen contents. Connections - Using Your Instrument with Other Devices - 1 2 1 [1 ▲▼]/ MONITOR [2 ▲▼] TYPE 2 [3 ▲▼]/ SCREEN [4 ▲▼] CONTENT Selects the desired output monitor type (NTSC or PAL) to correspond to the standard used by your video equipment. Determines the contents of the Video Out signal. LYRICS/TEXT: Only the lyrics of the Song or text files are output, regardless of the display that is called up on the instrument.
