1••(. MALFUNCTION 9. Output distorted and dirty; noisy. Treble is distorted; dirty. CAUSE Turntable to close to amp. Turntable not level. Stylus is dirty. Stylus tip worn out. Record damaged or dirty. Stylus pressure incorrect. Amplifier treble control adjusted too high. SOLUTION Relocate turntable. Level turntable. Clean with stylus brush. Replace stylus. Replace record, clean record. Adjust stylus pressure. • _• ..... . . .
