In the interest of the environment The appliance should be connected to the FOUL drainage system, the water will then be taken to a sewage works for treatment before being discharged safely into a river. It is essential that these appliances are not connected to the surface water drainage system as this water is discharged directly into a river or stream and may cause pollution. If you require any further advice please contact your local water authority. There is a risk of fire. • Do not replace or modify the mains cable yourself. Contact the After Sales Service. • Make sure that the mains plug and cable is not squashed or damaged by the back of the appliance. • The mains plug must be accessible without moving machine to enable electrical isolation of appliance prior to cleaning or service. • Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect the appliance. Sort the laundry as follows: whites, coloureds, synthetics, delicates, woollens. machine, to remove any manufacturing residue from the drum and tub.
