CHAPTER 2 The Remote Control Use the remote control to navigate the menus, play files, and configure the DMA. Point the remote control at the black dot on the front of the DMA. Here are the button functions. Figure 3 Remote Control Power turns the DMA on or off. Help displays help information for a screen. OUTPUT switches the video output type. SORT/EPG rearranges the order of the files. Use 0~9 to input numbers. Use GOTO to jump to a specific percentage (%) or time slice (hh:mm) of a playing music or video file. Previous, and next functions during file playback. BACK return to the previous menu. INFO displays details about the playing video or photo file. VIDEO opens a menu of video files to play. MUSIC opens a menu of music files to play. SUBTITLE changes the subtitles. LANGUAGE changes the language. Press MENU while playing a DVD file to open the DVD menu. STOP function during file playback. ZOOM zooms in on a photo or video. A-B lets you select start and stop times to repeat an interval for a playing music or video. HOME return to the main menu. SETUP opens the SETUP menu for configuring settings. BGM select and play background music. MUTE turns off the sound. REC, FUNC and COPY are reserved for future use. VOL -/+ adjust the volume. Use the OK and arrow buttons to go through the menus and play your files. IMEDIA opens a menu of Internet media to play. PICTURES opens a menu of picture files to view. REPEAT keeps playing (loops) the file. ROTATE turns a photo 90° clockwise. SLOW/SLIDE functions to slow down a playing video or display pictures automatically. DMA2501 User's Guide 15
