Peak Rate Specify the Peak Information Rate (PIR) for this port. DSCP Select the DSCP profile that you want to apply to packets on this port. In a DSCP profile you can specify the DSCP values to assign to packets based on the color they are marked via TRTCM. Apply Click Apply to save your changes to the Switch's run-time memory. The Switch loses these changes if it is turned off or loses power, so use the Save link on the top navigation panel to save your changes to the non-volatile memory when you are done configuring. Cancel Click Cancel to begin configuring this screen afresh. 36.3.2 Configuring DSCP Profiles Use this screen to configure DSCP profiles. Click the DSCP Profile link in the 2-Rate 3 Color Marker screen to display the screen as shown next. Table 116 IP Application > DiffServ > 2-rate 3 Color Marker > DSCP Profile LABEL DESCRIPTION Profile Name Type a descriptive name (up to 32 printable ASCII characters) for this profile. This is for identification only. Green Specify the DSCP value to use for packets with low packet loss priority. Yellow Specify the DSCP value to use for packets with medium packet loss priority. Red Specify the DSCP value to use for packets with high packet loss priority. Add Click Add to insert a new DSCP profile to the Switch's run-time memory. Cancel Click Cancel to reset the above fields to your previous configuration. Profile Name This field displays the name of the DSCP profile. Click the name to edit the profile settings.
