The Upper Knob The upper knob does these things: 0 Recall It tells youthe time andthe radio frequency. When the ignition isoff, push RCL to display the time. With the radio on, and time displayed, pushRCL to display the the frequency. It controls the volume. The volume increases or decreases volume whenthe knob is held slightly rotated againstthe spring load. It allows you to mute the radio or tape player. Press to mute; press again to listen. During mute, only volume up will work. Seek Pressing the SEEK 4 or button will cause the receiver to seek next higher or lower station and the stop. Balance The control behindthe upper knob allows you to balance the sound between the right and left speakers., The Lower Knob Turn the lower knob to tune radiostations..The tune knob increases and decreases station frequency when it Tr is held slightly rotated against the spring load.u n the knob to tune slowly, you hold it for more than 3 if seconds it will tune rapidly. Push it to get AM or FM. Scan When you press SCAN, the radio will to the next go station and pause and keep doing that until you press SCAN again. Fade The FADE control behindthe lower knob moves. the sound between your front and rear speakers. Pushbuttons The five pushbuttons let you return to favorite stations. (5 AM You can set the pushbuttons for up to ten stations and 5 FM). 0 Tune in the desired station. Press the SET pushbutton. (The display will show SET for about 5 seconds). 145
