~~ I INSPECTION WHAT SHOULD BE DONE OR SERVICE Rear Axle Service Check the gear lubricant level in the rear axle and add if needed. See "Rear Axle" in the Index. A fluid loss in this system may indicate a problem. Check the system and repair it if needed. If your vehicle is used to pull a trailer, have rear gear the axle lubricant changed eOery 7,500 miles (12 500 km). INSPECTION OR SERVICE Brake System Inspection WHAT SHOULD BE DONE Inspectthe,completesystem.Inspect brake and for lines hosesproper hookup,leaks, binding, cracks, chafing, etc. Inspect disc brake pads for wear and rotors for surface condition. Alsoinspectdrumbrakelinings for wear and cracks. Inspect other brake parts, wheel including drums, cylinders, calipers, parking brake, etc. Check parking brake adjustment. You may need have your brakes inspected to moreoften if yourdrivinghabitsor conditions result in frequent braking. NOTE: Alowbrakefluidlevelcan indicate worn disc brake pads which may need to be serviced, Also, if the brake system warning light stays on or comeson,something may bewrong See "Brake with brake the system.
