Battery Replacement Under normal use, the batteries in your key chain transmitter should last about two years. You can tell the batteries are weak if the transmitter If won't work at the normal range in any location. you have to get close to your vehicle before the transmitter works, it's probably time to change the batteries. For battery replacement, use two Duracell@ batteries, type DL-2016,or a similar type. To replace the batteries: 1. I your transmitter f has a screw, remove the screw from the back cover.If there is no screw, carefully pryoff the cover by inserting a dime (or similar object) in the slot between the covers and twist. 2. Lift off the front cover, bottom half first. 3. Remove and replace the batteries. them in as the Put direction under the batteries indicate. 4. Replace the front cover.
