LicenseLamps Sidemarker Lamps Instrument Panel Lights Daytime Running Lamps Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) make it easier for can others to see the front of your vehicle during the day. DRL can be helpfulin many different driving conditions, but they can be especially helpful in the short periods after dawn and before sunset. A light sensoron top of the instrument panel makes the DRL work, so be sure it isn't covered. 0 Interior Courtesy Lamps Pull the knob toward you,to the first setting to turn on the parking lamps.Pull the knob toward you, to the second settingto turn on the headlamps. By rotating the knob, you can make the instrument panel lights bright or dim and turn the courtesy lamps on or off. The DRL system will make your low-beam headlamps come on at reduced brightness daylight when: in 0 0 0 the ignition is on, the headlamp switch is off, and the parking brake is released. When the DRL are on, only your low-beam headlamps will be on. The taillamps, sidemarker and other lamps won't be on. Your instrument panel won't be lit up either. 2-36
