Getting undera vehicle when it is jacked upis dangerous. If the vehicle slips off the jack,you could be badly injured or killed. Never get under a vehicle when it is supported only by a jack. NOTICE: Raising your vehicle with the jackimproperly positioned will damage thevehicle or may allow the vehicle to fall off,thejack. Be sure tofit the jack lift head into theproper location before raising yourvehicle. 4. Raise the vehicle by rotating the wheel wrench clockwise. Raisethe vehicle far enough off the ground so there is enough roomfor the spare tire to fit. 5. Remove allof the wheel nuts. 1 NOTICE: Do not jack orlift the vehicle using the oil pan. Pans could crack andbegin to leak fluid. 5-26
