Head Restraints Slide the head restraint up or down that the top the so of restraint is closest to the top of your ears. This position reduces the chance of a neck injuryin a crash. There's one timethe seatback may not fold without if some help from you. That'syour vehicle is parked going down a fairlv steet, hill. To fold a seatback forward If the seatback isn't locked, it could move forward in a sudden stop or crash. That could cause injury to the person sitting there. Always press rearward on the seatback to be sure it is locked. The front seatback folds forward let people get into to the back seat.Your seatback will move back and forth freely, unless you come to a sudden stop. Thenwill it lock in place. if it does lock in place, push the seatback toward the rear as youlift this latch. Then the seatback will fold forward. The latch must be downfor the seat to work properly. 1-7
