A CAUTION: A rear-facing child restraint the front seat could be pushed in into the seatbackby the right-front passenger's bag if it air inflates. A child in a rear-facing childrestraint can be seriously injured ifthis happens. Always secure a rear-facing child restraint in the rearseat. 3. Secure the child in the child restraint as the instructionssay. 4. Pull out thevehicle's safety belt and run the lap part through or around the restraint. The restraint instructions child will show you how. See if the shoulder beltwould go in front of the child's face or neck. @ so, put it behindthe child restraint. I
