Wherever you install it, be sure to secure the child restraint properly. A CAUTION:' An unsecured child restraint can move around in a collision or sudden stop and i@urepeople in the vehicle. Be sure to properly secure any child restmint in your vehicle even when na.ehild is in it. v- Top Strap ' ~ I If your child restraint has a top strap, it should be anchored. r " If you need to have an anchor installed, you can ask your Cadillac dealer to put it in for you. If you want to install ananchor yourself, yourdealer can tell you how to doit. Vehicles first sold in Canada have childrestraint anchor bracket hardware in the glove box, along with instructions for installing it. This should be used only with child restraint, and onlyto secure a child restraint at the a center rearseating position. Additional anchor brackets for child both of the rearoutside seating positions are available restraints at one or at Cadillac dealerships in Canada. r 47
