Vehicle Speed Limiter This feature prevents your vehicle from exceeding speeds that the tires are not rated for. Whenthis happens, the engine's fuel supply is shut off. When the vehicle speed slows, the fuel supply will come on again. Engine Speed Limiter This feature prevents the engine from operating at too many revolutions per minute (rpm). When the engine's rpm are critically high, the fuel supply to the engine is shut off. When the engine speed slows, the fuel supply will come on again. This helps prevent damage to the engine. Tachometer This gage indicates the engine speed in revolutions per minute (rpm). Safety Belt Reminder Light When the key is turned to ON or START, a chime will come on for several seconds to remind people to fasten their safety belts. The safety belt light will also come on and stay on for several seconds. If the driver's belt is already buckled, the light will come on briefly, but the chime will not sound. Notice: Do not operate the engine with the tachometer in the shaded warning area, or engine damage may occur. 3-38
