Power Door Locks Press the raised side of the switch, marked L on either front door to lock all the doors at once. Programmable Automatic Door Locks Your vehicle is equipped with an auto lock/unlock feature which enables you to program your vehicle's power door locks. Your vehicle left the factory programmed to lock all doors when the vehicle is shifted out of PARK (P) and the engine is running and then unlock all of the doors when the vehicle is shifted into PARK (P). You can set the automatic lock feature to lock the doors you choose when the vehicle is shifted out of PARK (P) and unlock the doors you choose when the vehicle is shifted into PARK (P). You can also choose to have none of the doors lock or unlock. The following instructions detail how to program your door locks. Before you enter the program mode, you will want to choose one of the programming options following the programming instructions. Press the recessed side of the switch marked U to unlock all the doors at once. The power door locks will operate at any time without the ignition being on. The power door locks are also programmable. See "Programmable Automatic Door Locks" following. Operating the power locks may interact with the theft-deterrent system.
