Compact Disc Messages ERR (Error): If the disc comes back out and this message appears on the display, it could be for one of the following reasons: D You are driving on a very rough road. (The disc should play when the road gets smoother.) AM-FM Stereo with Cassette Tape and Compact Disc Player with Radio Data System (RDS) and Automatic Tone Control (If Equipped) D The disc is upside down. D It is dirty, scratched or wet. D It is very humid. (If so, wait about an hour and try again.) D If it's very hot. When the temperature returns to normal, the disc should play. D If the CD is not playing correctly, for any other reason, try a known good CD. Press RECALL to make ERR go off the display. 3-41
