STARTING AND OPERATING 317 Overdrive Operation The Overdrive automatic transmission contains an electronically controlled fourth and fifth gear (OVERDRIVE). The transmission will automatically shift from third gear to OVERDRIVE if the following conditions are present: gear for operation at this temperature.
