It features an adjuster knob (6) to alter the distance of the lever from the twistgrip on handlebar. To make the adjustment, keep the lever (5) full forward and adjust the knob (6), turning it to one of the four preset positions, taking account of the fact that: position n° 1 corresponds to the maximum distance between the lever and grip, while position n° 4 corresponds to the minimum distance. When the clutch lever (5) is operated, drive from the engine to the gearbox and the rear wheel is disengaged. Correct use of the clutch lever is very important in all riding situations, especially when moving off. Important Using the clutch properly will prolong the life of the engine and prevent any damage to components in the transmission. Notes The engine can be started with the sidestand down and the gearbox in neutral. If starting with a gear engaged, pull in the clutch lever (in this case the sidestand must be up). 21
