Refer to Refill capacities in the Capacities and specifications chapter. Fill to line on reservoir. Use Premium Power Steering Fluid. 13.1L (13.9 quarts). Use Motorcraft MERCON V ATF. 15.0L (15.9 quarts). Use Motorcraft MERCON ATF. 15.5L (16.4 quarts). Use Motorcraft MERCON ATF. Use Ford Premium Engine Coolant (green in color). DO NOT USE Ford Extended Life Engine Coolant (orange in color). Refer to Adding engine coolant, in the Maintenance and Care chapter. 2 Ensure correct automatic transmission fluid is used for a specific application. Check the container to verify the fluid is MERCON and/or MERCON V approved. Some fluids have been approved as meeting both MERCON and MERCON V requirements and will be labeled as such. Fluids labeled as meeting only MERCON or only MERCON V requirements must not be used interchangeably. DO NOT mix MERCON and MERCON V. Transmission fluid requirements are indicated on the dipstick or on the dipstick handle. Refer to your Scheduled Maintenance Guide to determine the correct service interval. 216
