11 08 01 09 10 12 13 interior features 01 02 hood release The hood release for your vehicle is located under the bottom left hand corner of the instrument panel. 06 07 08 09 check engine warning lamp This light indicates that the On-Board Diagnostics System (OBD-II) has detected a malfunction. If this light illuminates or blinks during driving, drive at a moderate speed and have the vehicle serviced immediately. For complete details on all the Warning Lights, please see your Owner's Guide. 12 climate control system Your vehicle is equipped with a climate control system. The basic functions of this system are described below: Temperature selection Air flow selections I I Controls the temperature of the airflow in the vehicle. Controls the direction of the airflow in the vehicle. check fuel cap warning lamp This light illuminates when the fuel cap may not be properly installed. MAX A/C I Uses recirculated air in A/C mode to cool the vehicle, reducing the amount of time to cool the cabin. Specific details of the operation of these systems are determined by the Climate Control System with which your vehicle is equipped. For complete details, please see your Owner's Guide. headlamp control Turns the lamps off. I Turns on the Parking lamps, instrument panel lamps, license plate lamps and tail lamps. I Turns the headlamps on. Autolamp control (if equipped) I Rotate the control counterclockwise to turn autolamp on. I Rotate the control clockwise to turn autolamps off. Daytime Running Lamps (if equipped) I Turn key to ON position. headlamp control to OFF, parking lamps or autolamp position. High Beams I Push the lever toward the instrument panel to activate. lever towards you to deactivate. I I adjustable pedals (if equipped) Press and hold the rocker control to adjust accelerator and brake pedal toward or away from you. The accelerator and brake pedal should only be adjusted when the 13 14 setting the digital clock (on radio) Press MENU until SELECT HOUR or SELECT MINUTE is displayed. The Multifunction lever is operated as follows: For wiper function I Rotate the end of the control away from you to increase wiper speed. I Rotate it towards you to decrease wiper speed. A long push and hold will activate wipers and washer fluid for up to ten seconds. For washer function I Push end of the stalk briefly for a single swipe of wipers without washer fluid. I Push and hold quickly for three swipes with washer fluid. I For rear window wiper/washer feature, rotate the rear window wiper control to the desired position. Press SEEK to select a preset station from memory. Press SEEK to listen to the next selection on the tape. Press SEEK to listen to the next track on the disc. I AdvanceTrac™ automatically turns on when the vehicle is started. I When system is off, the TRAC OFF indicator light will appear in the instrument cluster. This feature allows the front and middle seat passengers to listen to different media sources (radio, cassette, CD or DVD) simultaneously. (However, the front and middle seat passengers cannot listen to two different radio stations at the same time.) Rear seat passengers can use the controls to change the playing media for all passengers (Single Play mode). Tire pressure should be checked if this light remains on while driving. Press the left - control to move the time display backwards. When turn signal is activated, the appropriate mirror will show a blinking yellow arrow. I Blinking arrow is dimmer when parking lights are on.
