Entertainment Systems AM/FM STEREO IN-DASH SIX CD MODULAR AUDIO (IF EQUIPPED) 1. CD: To begin CD play, press LOAD. When the system is ready to accept a disc, IN will appear on the radio display. You may then insert a CD. The system will load the CD and begin play after a short pause. The disc number and track number will illuminate in the display. If a CD is already loaded into the system, press CD to enter CD mode and select the desired CD to play. CD units are designed to play commercially pressed 4.75 in (12 cm) audio compact discs only. Due to technical incompatibility, certain recordable and re-recordable compact discs may not function correctly when used in Ford CD players. Irregular shaped CDs, CDs with a scratch protection film attached, and CDs with homemade paper (adhesive) labels should not be inserted into the CD player. The label may peel and cause the CD to become jammed. It is recommended that homemade CDs be identified with permanent felt tip marker rather than adhesive labels. Ballpoint pens may damage CDs.
