Lights INTERIOR LAMPS Dome lamps The dome lamp is equipped with a control switch that will illuminate when: • the doors are closed and the switch is in the on position. • the switch is in the door activated position and any door is open. When the dome lamp switch is in the off position, it will not illuminate when you open the doors. Reading lamps (if equipped) The reading lamps are operated by separate on/off controls. Theater dimming: The dome lamp dims about 20 seconds after the doors are closed. BULBS Headlamp Condensation The headlamps are vented to equalize pressure. When moist air enters the headlamp(s) through the vents, there is a possibility that condensation can occur. This condensation is normal and will clear within 45 minutes of headlamp operation. Replacing exterior bulbs Check the operation of all the bulbs frequently. Using the right bulbs Replacement bulbs are specified in the chart below. Headlamp bulbs must be marked with an authorized "D.O.T." for North America to assure lamp performance, light brightness and pattern and safe visibility.
