6. Now, with the compartment door closed, press the button again to make sure the garage door opener operates properly. Driver Information System (If Equipped) Your vehicle may be equipped with a HomeLinkR Transmitter. For more information, see "HomeLinkR Transmitter" in the Index. With the garage door opener positioned properly and the right number of pegs in place, you should only have to press the button slightly to operate the opener. Adjust the position of the garage door opener and add or remove pegs, as needed, until the opener operates properly. This system displays the outside air temperature, compass direction and trip information in the overhead console. US/MET: The US/MET (United States/metric) button allows you to switch the display between the English and metric system. MODE: The MODE button can be used to toggle between three modes of operation: OFF, COMP/TEMP and TRIP. 2-48
