With current trends in automotive styles and design, it is essential that the correct towing equipment is used to tow a vehicle. Your vehicle can be towed with wheel-lift or car-carrier equipment. When using wheel-lift equipment on a vehicle with All-Wheel-Drive, you must use a dolly under the rear wheels when towing from the front and under the front wheels when towing from the rear. On Rear-Wheel Drive vehicles observe the following tow limits of 35 mph (56 km/h) for 50 miles (80 km). Consult your dealer or a professional towing service if you need to have your vehicle towed. See "Roadside Assistance" in the Index. Engine Overheating You will find an engine coolant temperature gage on your vehicle's instrument panel. See "Gages" in the Index. NOTICE: Use the proper towing equipment to avoid damage to the bumper, fascia or fog lamp areas of the vehicle. 5-7
