NOTICE The front and rear final gear cases require different oils. To ensure correct performance and durability, use only the recommended oils. •The front final gear case uses engine oil; the same oil you use in the engine. The front gear case contains the variable differential system which operates best when lubricated by engine oil. •The rear final gear case uses a special oil type; refer to the chart above. The rear gear case contains the rear brake discs which must be lubricated by Kawasaki Performance Gear and Wet Brake Oil (or equivalent) to ensure long life and proper performance. *Kawasaki Performance Oils and Lubricants have been specifically engineered for your vehicle.
