HOW TO OPERATE 61 żWhen shifting the lever from "L" to "N", if it is hard to move the shift lever passing "H" position and does not move to "N" position, return the shift lever to "L" once and repeat to move the lever to "N" position slowly. Reversing Gears

Do not shift from “H” (High) or “L” (Low) to
“R” (Reverse) and vice versa for KAF400A
or “F” (Forward) to “R” (Reverse) and vice
versa for KAF400B when the vehicle is mov-
ing or with the engine running above idling
speed, or the transmission could be dam-
aged.
